Miles
|
Miles first came to us in 2006, after having already been a professional freestyle skier since 2002. After having skied every line available in Lake Tahoe, CA, he immediately fell in love with Alaska, the Wrangells, and the endless possibilities here. Since beginning his guiding career with us, he has also lead trips on Mt. Rainer (14,411 ft.), Mt. McKinley (20,320 ft.), and El Pico de Orizaba (18,701 ft.) in Mexico. Miles grew up in Northern California and became enchanted by the Sierra Nevada mountains at a very young age. He developed his skiing and mountaineering techniques while exploring Lake Tahoe, Yosemite and Kings Canyon. Miles also has a horrible addiction to warm water surfing and has explored the breaks of Baja California, Mainland Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Brazil, and Indonesia. If you're lucky enough to have Miles as your guide, you can be guaranteed not only amazing skiing and technical skills, but also an undyingly positive attitude and seemingly endless energy for anything remotely related to skiing and adventure.
