Growing up in Alaska has taught this guide one thing: backpacking and copious amounts of duck tape go together like grey sticky fun. It is easy to find him holding down a bar stool with a book in one hand and pint in the other. The outdoors are more than a job for this survivalist, he is currently living in Chicago and writing a book about trying to survive in its hostile environment of natural selection. The book will be released next year titled “Out of the Wild” with a movie directed by some famous person to follow shortly after. When his transient lifestyle reaches the summer months he is found in McCarthy making sure that you have a great time on your Alaskan adventure.
